Somebody said that breaking dress rules is ok if you don't break too many at once

QUARTZ is best of all worlds. 

• acceptable accuracy -- even cheapest models go <2s/d and most are <0.3d, some can do radio synchronization 
• thin movement 
• no need wind, rotate it or keep close to window to keep current time
• service time from 2 to 10 years depending on model and cost is only battery plus pressure testing
• sky is the limit in case of complications
• no limits in dial materials (compared to solar models)

The only downside is that most of them do only one tick per second and give no prestige points
