Watches under UV light

I have a small UV flashlight that I use to charge the lume on my watches.

I had noticed that whenever I used it to charge my Sinn 303, the red chrono hands take on a super bright orange glow.  In addition, the tachymeter bezel has some markings in red, and they also seem to "come alive" under that UV light, and take on a somewhat eerie glow.  It's pretty tough to capture in a photo, but hopefully this shot gives a decent idea of what it looks like.

Here's what the same watch looks like normally. Still a nice watch, but nowhere near as vibrant and "electric" looking.

I'm curious if anyone else has a watch that reacts similarly to UV light.

Just got myself an UV light for videos and it works so quick 👍. Just don't shine it at your bed 😉

LOL - they can certainly be revealing 😉

They do work pretty damn good for charging lume - one quick blast is all it takes.

Don’t eat yoghurt in it, then…

I find having a UV flashlight super helpful taking lume shots! Brings out the best color!

I definitely use a UV flashlight to charge the lume on my watches when needed. Like @tempus said, just a quick blast is all it takes. Mine is similar to this one on Amazon and only costs $7.99.

You can also see what fluoresces on your watches.
