Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Started in November 2023 with the Casio "Royale", never looked back.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Chinese clone of the Casio CA-52 or CA-53.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Bought a G-Shock DW-6900E-1 [3230] from a flea market for peanuts, replaced the bezel and strap with new ones, and now it's the watch with the best EL display in my collection.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't rush and buy everything you see.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Mostly Casio, and mostly digital, but I dabbled in some very clean looking and affordable analogue ones as well. Love me some Swatch Rebel watches as well, for some added color.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Probably a Casio Oceanus from the Manta S7000 series. Apart from Seiko's Spring Drive, this is probably the best quartz can offer.
