My Marathon 46mm JSAR

Good morning Crunchers! Just wanted to share one of my favorite watches in my collection. When I first saw the Marathon line of watches, I read all of the information and the history behind the company and their products and I totally fell in love with them. At first, I bought the 41mm GSAR but when I put it on, it looked way too small so I returned it and exchanged it for the 46mm JSAR and never looked back.

This watch is built like a tank. Beefy. When you look at the dial and the sides it looks like you are looking down a barrel. The rotating bezel is satisfying and there's no playback while rotating. The lume is fantastic. I know that someone on here was talking about why is lume so important and it should really be a big deal but this watch has gorgeous lume.

I bought a 22mm camouflage watch band from Ebay and well, although it looks good and it has quick release pins, it sometimes feel that it is way too light for the watch so I have to make sure that I put the watch on tight so it will stay put. I have never had any watch strap/band failures on any of my watches (knock on wood.) I also bought another watch strap from CNS and it is a great strap. I'm thinking about getting a colored strap, maybe an orange strap but I'm not in a rush.

I bought this watch from Ebay brand new years ago and it cost me about $700. Now, this watch runs about $1,200 on Ebay. Crazy.

Anyway, I posted some pics of it out and about and with the bands that I have and one with the lume at full blast. I know that some of you may not like the fact that the watch is 46mm and has an 18mm case but if you have been thinking about getting one, please do!

Have a great and safe weekend everyone😎

I’m on the market now and glad you like it. Hopefully I’ll pull the trigger in December.
