Conversations With Marc From Long Island Watches (Greenport 39mm Vs Citizen Promaster 42mm)

I have had an interest in purchasing a 39mm Greenport with the blue sunburst dial from Long Island Watches but then I noticed that it was 39mm. I started looking at my collection and the smallest watches that I have are the Seiko Flightmasters and the Citizen 42mm Promaster NY0040-50W. I emailed Marc and asked him how would a 39mm Greenport look on an 8 inch wrist if the smallest looking watch that I have are the Citizen 42mm Promaster and a few Seiko Flightmasters.
Well long story short, he emailed me back and said that the Citizen has a "presence" of a larger watch but if I thought that that the 42 Citizen looked small, then the 39mm Greenport would be a hell smaller than the Citizen and Seiko FM.
The Greenport just looked a lot bigger than what it is on the Youtube video when Marc was demonstrating it!
What do you Crunchers think? I mean, 39mm is going to be way too small for an 8" wrist and my Citizen NY0040-50W and Flightmasters are 42mm too. I have attached some pictures so you can see what I am talking about and have at it in the comments.

PS: Both the Citizen and Seiko are on MY wrist. The Greenport is not.

I think 39mm will look fine on you, smaller isn't a bad thing, let some of the strap show
Worst comes to worst you can buy the thing and flip it on eBay if you don't like it for a small loss

Hello! I've been meaning to keep up with replies but I had a procedure done on my neck and had me laying down a lot with and ice pack under my neck. I'm just now starting to feel better.
I TOTALLY forgot that I used to own a Zeppelin LZ129 Hindenburg that was 36mm and it ran so small, that I had never wore it and sold it to another Cruncher here.
I think that the 39mm will fit. If not, i can return it to Long Island Watches or sell it to someone here.
I have attached a picture of the Zeppelin that I used to have. Unfortunately, I was not wearing it at the time.
Now, where's that ice pack?😕😂
