I've encountered an incredibly frustrating situation with DHL. My package, labeled for express shipping from the Netherlands to France for the watch company Baltic, has been stuck in a sorting loop at the Gignac la Nerthe location for the past 8 days. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue by contacting DHL, the employee canceled the shipment. Despite promises of a callback, no support has been provided.
I have explicitly mentioned in my communication with them that the label is still on the package, but the shipment was canceled. Additionally, the package was mistakenly shipped as a standard DHL package, even though it bears an express label. What baffles me is that there is an address of the sender on the package, so I fail to understand why DHL has not simply returned my package, given the acknowledged mistake. They have initiated an investigation, but there has been no progress or resolution.
This experience, with the package being shipped as standard while the label clearly indicates express, is the worst service encounter in my entire life. The lack of communication and assistance from DHL is utterly unacceptable.
Has anyone else ever had a similar issue?
I've also contacted Baltic for investigations, but they have not responded. Additionally, I'm uncertain whether the package is currently insured or not.

Fortunately I have had perfect luck with DHL and both Baltic and Henry Archer deliveries to the US. I am sorry you are having issues, especially this time of year. Hopefully it will get solved.
I had the same situation with a different courier.
Repeating updates that it was being sorted. After three weeks they mailed me saying they lost the package and that the updates were from their tracking system freaking out.
In my case the package was cheap and the seller simply sent me another one. I would definitely contact Baltic again.

Just wondering if Baltic watches are insured and if Baltic, in the event of loss, would send a new one? Otherwise, this would be my last time buying a watch from Baltic. The MR01 stopped working after regular use and only 5 times of wear.
DHL is the worst
2ND worst. The shipping company Artem uses make DHL look like FedEx. That shipping nightmare is the only thing that keeps me from buying another strap from them
Baltic won't reply to my mails. Last Baltic watch for me that is one thing for sure.

Latest update.
Does this mean my package is coming back?!
Update; After 2 months of encountering issues with DHL and the theft of my brand new Baltic MR01 watch, I contacted Baltic multiple times via email. They even called me during the night to offer assistance. They suggested initiating an investigation to locate the watch.
After several attempts, Baltic decided to send me a brand new watch, despite not being obligated to do so due to DHL's failure to scan my package. They promptly addressed my request for extra links by sending them the same day.
The service provided by Baltic is truly top-notch! I am extremely pleased and relieved to have my watch back. 😄
