How cheap does a watch have to be to always be worth it?

I paid $40 for this Studsgaard Aviator S0011, which is a 316L steel quartz (Seiko VD53) chronograph, with sapphire coated mineral glass, it features a rotating outer dial. For me it's already worth it...
