Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have always liked accessories (bags, hats, sunglasses, etc.). I also didn't realize how much I liked watches until a friend of mine got a Breitling and then a Rolex. I started looking around about 10 years ago and got my first watch (Omega Speedmaster). I have a strong affinity to Omega with 2 in my collection and a few Moonswatches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I don't remember the brand, but my dad gave it to me, and I absolutely loved wearing it. My first brand watch I got (other than Swatches back in the day) was a Tag with the Naval Academy crest on it. Omega was my first true luxury watch.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I am really getting into mircobrands. Christopher Ward, Traska, Baltic, and a few more. However I will always come back to Omega. I also have my eyes on a Cartier.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Patek Philippe Nautilus or any Breguet
