I have a 1500t professional and for me it's great. The watch is built like a tank and due to the cushion case I don't think wears as big as the numbers suggest. I would recommend buying pre-owned if possible (I didn't) as resale prices do tend to be a lot lower than from an AD. Personally it's one that I can't see me ever moving on from my collection.

Ive bought quite a few cases and dials from Ali Express for ETA 2824 clones. They've been pretty good quality but not very original, basically submariner or date just clones. Dial and handsets are fairly available with lots of variations though

Ive made a few now and really enjoy it. Cases and dials I get from AliExpress and then put a Sellita movement in. I'm at the point where I'd like to start printing my own dials which is harder than I thought! I've started to take the movements apart too, for example trying to remove the date complication. The 2 below are probably my favourites and the ones I now wear most of the time
