Not quite finished though. The nikle plating is shot so the next task will be to strip it down to the brass underneath and give it a brushed finish. Stay tuned (there will be pictures).

Will probably use the opportunity while the movement is out of the case to get it serviced by a professional. 

This is why I love Vostok. A $10 watch, $14 on Aliexpress for a bezel insert sand NATO strap, and £20 for a coinedge replacement bezel from SeikoMods.
