I wore this watch all day today and while it looked very puny in the morning (to me) it looks totally fine by this evening. Which makes me think that I could definitely wear a 39-40 mm dress watch. I said dress Watch because I think I really liked about this watch today was the thinness. The way it easily state under my cuff unlike the divers I normally wear.
Yup. I'll preface by saying that People should buy and wear whatever they want regardless of the setting. I'm a big fan of expressing yourself in whatever you like. That said...
I love wearing my watches, and despite being a graphic designer, it's for a blue collar tool company. A diver or field watch works equally well with a tshirt or a nice button up. Something super artsy and creative would be a little "out there" in that setting while also running counter to my own style.
The result? A collection that leans toward the norms.
This makes me think about how r/watches* will rip a SOTC poster for being boring while simultaneously recommending the same 10 watches to anyone who asks.
I love my collection but there is no doubt that it is full of common/normal/expected choices.
*this place is much friendlier!
Oh heck yeah! One of the great race car liveries.
