Looks great on your wrist! I have a 6.3 inch wrist and wondering how this will wear. I understand it wears similar to a 36mm but bracelet of the new Explorer tapers quite a bit hence looks smaller. Any idea in the taper of the Carree since its starts at 18mm I heard. Thanks!

I called my local AD right after launch to let me know if one comes around. Nada. Inquired with Calgary Jewelry and was told they have a waitlist of 2 years 🙄 but Canadian Watch groups have postings for slightly less than retail (taxes in) in unworn condition.

Same here. People say it looks very similar but wears differently. Not sure myself if adding $1,400++ for the change is worth it. Hope to be able to try it on and will decide.

36 is classic though the bracelet of the 124270 has a very aggressive taper. With a 7 inch wrist, maybe the 40 might be a better fit. Adrian reviewed the new 40 and said the proportions are much better than the old 39. btw, my buddy just got the new 40 yday from our local AD.

I have a small wrist and think the 37 would be ideal switch for me. I am leaning towards getting the 54 but would largely depend on how the pre-owned market would be for the 58 now.

I've been waiting for another proper review on the Solarbeat for quite sometime now. Excellent video, Max. Alligator strap would have been perfect. Cartier is charging CAD 480. Width is 19 yeah? Any recommendation where to get cheaper alligator straps?
