I’ve mulled over rekindling my watch collection for a couple of years now. And after hours on YouTube and joining this forum, I’ve decided to restart...
Let's just all raise our glasses to celebrate our wonderful and supportive spouses. And for those of you who still have bumps on the road, don't fret, it will all smooth out. Just pay the house bills first ;)
I just recently bought a beater and put up all my old watches for sale, as in, gave the entire case to my son (who lives somewhere else now) and told him to sell it for me. So I have no more watch case, and hence no more empty slots to fill. Out of sight, out of mind.
In addition, I mark down the date I bought the beater and resolve wear it for at least a year (362 days to go) before buying the next one.
And, I think this might just work out for me, wish me luck!
I wanted to ask fellow Watch Crunchers here for advise regarding movements, specifically, the Seiko 6R35.
I recently bought the SPB207 MM 200, and it's losing ~15 seconds everyday. Now, @kentuckyman30 stated that he has some 6R35 Seiko's that could do 2spd.
My question is, will sending my watch to Seiko for regulation service get it to ~2spd?
