Oh yes. Prior to this, I already have another loopless Artem in black. I have a scrawny wrist of 6.25". Artem recommends at least 6.4" for the standard strap (not XS). It still wears perfect for me with my little finger can fit in between the straps. Not wearing too loose. I have several other 'sailcloths' but nothing comes close to the Artems. The texture is more 'premium'. So, it's worth the price. But of coz, I won't be getting it for all my watches. You can actually get a cheaper 'Omega style' clasp on AliExpress as Artem clasps itself cost the almost as the straps. Artems clasps has both brushed and polished sides. The underside is leather I believe. Don't need any break ins. I love these. Comfy and you don't feel it on the wrist. Definitely recommends Artem.

Imo. If I were to gift a friend a watch, I would at least choose a brand that he/she would recognize and they are more than likely to wear it. Seiko is a safe bet. There are some great choices in the SRPE range. And size matters too. Auto will be good too if you want to introduce a friend to the watch world.
