Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I watched a time teller video about the Seiko sary082….think I ordered one from Macy’s as soon as it ended and it’s been all “downhill” from there
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A vintage inspired fossil chronograph with my name engraved as a birthday gift when I turned 18
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t fall into the early trap like I did and buy a bunch of watches you think you like just to have a collection. This is a marathon not a sprint. Take your time, find out what you like and your style. Find the size that best fits you and dont compromise, take that extra bit of time whether it be a month, year or a couple and get the watch you really want.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Grand Seiko is absolutely amazing. My favorite brand but I would love to get hands on with Glasshute original, Nomos or Sinn
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
This answer changes all the time. My first grail ever was A. LANGE One Moonphase. I remember just starting out and seeing this watch and thinking nothing can be more elegant and beautiful. The moonphase complications is my favorite and their movements are the most beautiful in my opinion. As of late I would love a vintage Rolex Pepsi Gmt.
