Let's have a Coke, babe!

Received my newest addition yesterday, Glycine Combat Sub GMT, 42mm. Picked the "Coke" version over the "Pepsi" because those red, black, and gold colors just go beautifully together!

Timegrapher shows no problems and I haven't lost/gained a second over the last 12 hours, which is quite promising.

Only downside, and I expected that, is the date window. Some moron decided, it is a good idea to put in a black date wheel with red lettering. Unless the light shines on the watch in the right angle, the date can't be determined. Probably changing it eventually with a white one.

Otherwise I'm a very happy traveler! 😁

I ditched the middle bracelet I prefer a tapered metal bracelet 22 to maybe 20 or 18. Anyhow enjoy stunning color combo.

Looked at that model too!😀

These really are the best bang for buck. They seem to do a really good job on the build quality for the money. I might get some pushback for this but, I’d take a Combat Sub over a Tissot Seastar any day 😬

I also own the Coke Combat Sub GMT. GL0380. Love it. Same as you, my only complaint is wiith the date window and the illegible color combination. I just decided I won't look at the date window. Other than that, It makes for a great daily wearer, at home, office, etc. Has made it so easy to know what time of day is half around the world at a glance. They wear and feel smaller than a regular 42mm I hope you get the same joy from your Glycine as I've had! Cheers!

Agree. Criminally underrated, and for me the best value in a Swiss brand.

I certainly will. Been a long time 'fan' of Glycine. Talked to my watch repair man. He's gonna put a white/black letter wheel in. Then it's gonna be perfect!😁
