W&W Show @ Timeworks watch store tonight.
Timeworks, a watch store owned by Ben Bridge Jewelers, has a W&W slide show and watch meet tonight. It was very nicely done. They did a nice presentation about the new issues at W&W. I've been to that store before and they have a very cordial, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
For me, the highlight was holding a Lange Saxonia Moonphase that a gentleman there had recently purchased. I've never seen a real Lange before, much less held in my hand and examined the movement with a loupe. All I can say is I understand why people pay that much for a watch now. It lived up to its reputation and its price and more. It was a treasure to look at and hold, something I'll never forget. If you ever get the chance to touch a piece like this, don't miss it!
