Hey I love the way you take your photos. Care to share how you do it? ๐
I re-created it:
The setupย
I lay a dark shirt in front of my laptop and use it to prop up my watch. It's something I usually do when there's a really boring conference call. I open a light coloured window so it's bright. I keep the rest of the room reasonably dark.
2. The shotย
I like cameras. I have lots of them, big and small, affordable and cheap, old and older. You could use a phone, but I hate the cumbersome controls when shooting with a phone. But it works, you just need something where you can adjust the exposure, be it a camera or a phone app.
This is how my camera wants to expose the picture:
As you can see, we are having creative differences. So I turn down the exposure to my liking:
3. The editย
I don't do much post processing, just straighten, crop, a bit of adjusting colours and lighting. I use lightroom mobile on my phone cause it's free and easy to use.
The orange glow is just a lamp standing next to the desk, nothing fancy.

Looks nice. I only have one. Sunburst glossy.

From observation:
Orange light on bottom left. White/blue light on the top behind the watch. Possibly a window.
Plus a black background and learning to adjust the camera's exposure.
And of course you can do the final adjustments in a photo editor.ย
Great shot, bud! I haven't taken an angular shot similar to yours, though. Here are some of the ones I have so far.ย
The rest in my collection have sunburst or matte finish.ย
Here are my 2:

Pretty close - it's even less effort though ๐
