No, never
It's not as big or as harsh a material as bulky stainless steel crownguards that you get on dive watches, I've had the back of the wrist stabbing problem with other watches and find it very annoying. This watch has never once done that to me

It definitely feels quality, the sealant on the leather edges, the stitching, you can tell it was a premium leather strap. The cashmere is cashmere on the top lined with leather on the bottom. It's very comfortable.
When someone says cashmere I tend to think of cashmere scarfs which are quite soft - this cashmere is kind of a more Oxford button down tight weave texture/feel on your skin - doesn't really matter anyways because your wrist is going to be touching leather, not the cashmere itself.
Anyways yeah, I am convinced that Aaron Bespoke is really good quality, I'd like to order more straps from them, just very expensive to have as many straps in as many colors as I would like!
