I would appreciate your thoughts and support to pick one of these,

SBGY013 (White Omiwatari): GS mirror finishing, flagship SD movement with high-end finishing, hidden power reserve, steel bracelet with strap options

SBGW231: Classic design (calatrava style), amazing dial, fits beautifully, great value, beautiful movement.

Railmaster 1957: timeless design, strap monster, exceptional and reliable movement, can be dressed up andndown, limited re-edition, higher brand image.

My concern to be honest is getting a safe queen, like other watches since they don't get enough wrist time.

Current collection includes examples to this:

PAM183: an impulsive purchase, still appreciate the movement and wrist presence though

OP 116000, 369/blue dial, purchased as a place holder for the Explorer 36mm , which turned to be too small for my taste. The OP fits my wrist much better.

and a Speedmaster Prof moonwatch, purchased in 2016, great watch but I'm not able to get attached, even after adding a leather strap.

I want to consolidate my collection, and this will leave me with a 2008 Submariner 16610, and a datejust 36mm silver dial 116234, in addition to my latest acquisition was an Omega AT 38 white dial, which I compared side by side with the RM and I knew it will be the best daily driver, however the RM is still singing to me 😣.

Your insights and thoughts are highly appreciated, which one would you get, noting I can get a discount that makes any more appealing.

Cheers

I wear my similar styled SM300 as a daily, it's spot on, not too dressy and not too tooly. Very versatile, and extremely accurate. 💪🏼👍🏻

Probably the RM Omega. At this weight class there all decent watches so I just picked on looks ✌️😊

It would have been the Railmaster 57 if you hadn't already the AT 38mm which is the perfect daily to my mind. The RM wouldn't have enough wrist time.

But you miss a 100% dresswatch, so the SBGY fills the bill the best to me.

Agreed I'm thnking to add a dress watch (simple with white face) since long time tbh. I find the SBGW231 fit this category more, but the Omiwatari has more presence and better finishing

I would get the SBGY013 as it's quintessential Grand Seiko in design. Although I prefer other cases/bracelets of their collection for myself.

The GS's are too similar (main "problem" with GS) and I simply do not like the Omega. I had considered the later for a while, btw.

Railmaster, 'cause I'm on Omega Fanboy, I prefer darker dials & I don't have a Railmaster, but those GS watches are beautiful. I could easily take either GS and be happy as a pig in mud.

The only real question is "Which one do you like best?".

Tough question.. ALL OF THEM🙄

I've always had a soft spot for the SBGW231, can't get a watch more pure than that.

But ultimately it's a dress watch and I would never have the occasion to wear it.
