Refreshing fabric straps

Hey all! Does anyone have any tips for cleaning nylon straps? My natos tend to get a little dark around the holes probably because they come in contact with hands the most. I've thought about attaching it to a belt loops and putting it in the washing machine but I figured I'd ask you folks beforehand.

I second the washing machine. I also have a dedicated toothbrush that assists in all watch hygiene needs.

....or soak them overnight in a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water, then rinse.
