Thank you my friend. Now I have 3 quartz and 2 automatics, so next one has to be automatic! It is nice that there is no date complication so I really can ‘set it and forget it’. I look at it as a tool watch that I won’t ever have to fuss with, and that I do like.
Thanks everyone. I was a little skeptical about the quartz at first but im really falling in love with it. Another thing I forgot to mention, the size is only 37mm, so it fits my small wrist perfectly.
I was looking for a dive ’style’ watch for my collection, and I was leaning towards the Seiko 5 GMT. Now I think I’ll wait for some micro brands to produce something a little bit more interesting.
Update: I reached out to Oris, and as many of you have said, they have no plans of expanding on the Cervo Volante line. I think my best bet will be to get the 36mm and maybe trade it in if the 38mm with bracelet if it ever becomes available. Thank you all for your input.
Update, I visited my Oris AD and tried on the pointer date with the full bronze bracelet. The bracelet sold me. Still haven't purchased, but hopefully soon!
