My display box has 10 spaces, so therefore the perfect collection number is 11! 10 in the box and 1 on the wrist👌 if you need to rotate more often, change watches when you arrive home from work..😁

32mm 2 hand Seiko from 1988, my Father’s retirement watch. 7” wrist, I think 36mm is probably the smallest I would buy for myself.

I have only recently become aware of servicing problems associated with the pm80, I have a Tissot Le Locle and it runs at about 5 to 10 seconds per day fast. So to me it seems like a decent idea that if it goes wrong, send it back to Swatch and have a new movement installed.

All I can add to this discussion is to show my Ingersoll which I bought new in 1972.

It was made in England and I recently stripped it and rebuilt it with the help of a Richard Perrit video on YouTube, it still works perfectly.

Can’t remember its number off the top of my head but this would be my choice!

If I have to get up in the middle of the night I can use the lume to highlight where my slippers are under the bed 😂

I bought my dream watch 18 months ago, a blue dial Longines HydroConquest with ceramic bezel. I would love an Odysseus but If there could be only one, I would keep my Longines..

commented on What is your opinion about watches made of titanium? ·

I certainly wouldn’t equate lightness with value, however the watches I love wearing the most are my Stainless dive watches and the significant weight difference over my dress or field watches is a major factor.

Therefore I don’t feel inclined to try Titanium.
