Lucky watch?
As I posted, I bought the panda Seiko Speedtimer solar yesterday evening. A few hours later my son and I sat down to watch the FA Cup qf - Manchester United vs Liverpool. I am a Utd fan as is my son (he wouldn't have had a place under my roof otherwise). Won't bore you with the details, but it was an absolute belter of a match and after 105 + mins played, Liverpool is winning 3-2. 15 minutes to save it, and I ask my wife to hand me the watch lying on the table, saying "Who knows, maybe it brings us luck". And after missing a couple of sitters in the match, Rashford strikes one sweetly into the bottom corner, and with 2 minutes to go, a searing counter attack leads to young Amad Diallo squeezing in the tightest of finishes to make it 4-3, game over! Absolutely mental scenes as my son and I scream and jump and hug and fist bump, wifey is like wtf just happened, and I kiss the watch on my wrist. I'm not a superstitious man in general, but if there's one arena a man is excused for it, it's got to be the sporting arena!

Great game full of blood and thunder, if error strewn at both ends. Honestly i thought it was absolutely even, one way or the other. At the end of the day, I though you guys made just one more mistake and missed one more chance. Fine margins. Hoping Chelsea can put one over Guardiola's men.

I doubt it somehow. They are in decent shape to win the treble again.
