So, yellow is my favourite color.
You may think that there's a lot of choice of yellow dial watches right?
Kinda, but I do not want a bright yellow like a Doxa or a Tsuyosa, I'm more of a reserved guy when it comes to colors.
I searched a lot for a watch that could express yellow without exagering it, without it being all its identity.
Some weeks ago I found this guy.
It' s such a sleeper in my opinion, the dial color is a marvelous tone in between golden and salmon and its grainy texture exaltes the shades even more as they change with the light, its rounded shape sinks into the hour indexes to break its monotony in a firm yet quite way.
This watch made yellow whisper instead of scream, kind of a difficult task.
Another bold choice from Hamilton, that goes into this concept even more, it's the lack of a second hand that keeps the movement you see on the dial to the minimum without sacrificing any functionality in this modern yet nostalgic piece.
So, I'm very happy to say this will be my go-to yellow dial and I will buy it as I finish my internship as a gift six months from now :)

The Intramatic is a great watch. I like the no second hand on this type of watch.
I’m pretty sure my skin tone washes out any champagne dials I try to wear 😭
