Ok, what's a drawing of a watch doing with such a clickbait title? Let me explain ๐
So the watch in question is the ADPT series 1 Terra, a watch that is in my wishlist for a while, it wasn't a limited edition or anything so I waited a bit to purchase it in favour of a big lucky shot on a Brew Retromatic Blue ( paid it 600 dollars) because I thought I could just buy it later.
Boy was I wrong.
Windup stopped producing it, and not the model, just the color I wanted ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
So I drew it. Just to get this out of my system I guess, I love the design and all the colors in play, I even had a Betta fish that I loved dearly that had the the exact same colors :)
So now I have to get lucky to find one used I guess and there's a chance I won't even own one :(
So there it is, I hate limited editions, I hate limited supply, I hate that is just to crank up the prices in spite of the consumer.
So I ask you crunchers, what is you most sad missed opportunity in this hobby?

Have you contacted them to see if they have any more tucked away somewhere, or if there were any returns, etc.? That can sometimes work.
It looks like theyโve popped up for sale on eBay. Iโd just keep an eye on the site. You could also check on WUS and r/watchexchange. See if anyone is selling one or put out a notice that youโre looking for one.

Thank you very much :) as soon as I have the money I will

I was in this situation and had a pleasant surprise. I wanted an Orion Calamity Void but didnโt buy one right away. Shortly after, only that colour was sold out and discontinued.
Fast forward to five years later, earlier this year, I got Orionโs email newsletter. One message was that they had assembled a single Calamity Void using a prototype dial for a special request. Their potential client ghosted them so they were offering it for sale. I snapped that up within minutes. Itโs everything I wanted it to be and I love it.
I hope the OP is able to source his watch with equal satisfaction.

This story gives me hope, thank you :))
I'm sorry you weren't able to get a new one, but I love the drawing!
