I had seen Red Star watches on Ali (not this one though), and always thought they were a Chinese brand. That a Russian watch specialist stocks them makes me question that assumption. Tongji movement, so probably Chinese anyway.

Indeed, it is solely a Chinese brand in the end. Despite the reliable movement, I primarily purchased this for the color of the dial. Yes, I have had a lot of questions about maintenance and repairs, but it will take time because this is a dress, not a daily wearer.
