Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
When I saw people wearing an Omega Speedmaster. I fell in love immediately. But I still can’t afford one. Then, I am looking for alternatives.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Cartoon watch, then mom bought me a G-shock GAC-100 when I was 13. That’s my first proper watch, it’s a keeper.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Seiko 5 (SNX809). This was belongs to my dad’s. He’s not wearing a watch, this watch was given by his senior. Then I ask him to wear it. So that’s my first automatic watch, and it also a keeper.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Looking at your budget first, then make a list.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Tudor, Tag Heuer
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Speedmaster Board Arrow. For me, this is an iconic Speedy. The borad arrow handset is a charm.
