Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Decided to treat myself to a Rolex Datejust as my first "real" watch. Down the rabbit hole thereafter...
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Research a lot. Prices will always fluctuate; just wait for the right moment and never buy impulsively. Always authenticate watches from the gray market.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I would consider a three-watch Grail "Collection," which would be the end-game collection that would most likely stop me from going further. It would include a gold Rolex President Day Date 40 with diamond hour indices, A. Lange Sohne Moonphase in pink gold, and a Patek Perpetual Calender in platinum (green preferred).
