Did you hear about the guy who walked into a psychiatrist's office with a steering wheel stuffed down his pants?
The doctor took a look at him and said, "You've got a steering wheel down your pants.".
The patient said, "Yeah! It's driving me nuts!!!"
Snap! I read this post from Teddy yesterday.
Nice watch BTW!
Thanks for the feedback all, I appreciate it. I did have my doubts about things like the cases - many different models seemingly sharing the same case, all polished within an inch of their lives. The dials which were all flat with no or few applied features, the sheer quantity of old watches, and so on.
Appreciate the tips about what to look for, will stay away from this seller 👍
Edit: Oh, by the way, what model number are you wearing in your post?
Nice one, thank you. I recall reading that the dive watches at least were an "improved" version of the SKX, with better movement, sapphire, ceramic bezel etc for a Citizen price. Must look further into it.
Maybe Marc should appoint a dealer in Australia? 😉
I like the look of Islander, but perhaps a bit pricey in Australia with delivery and GST. How does the price in local currency (USD) compare to say, a Seiko 5, Citizen Promaster Auto, Orient diver etc? Significantly cheaper, or about the same?
