[Zodiac Super Seawolf GMT] Talk me in/out of picking one of these up…
I’ve been on the hunt for a Zodiac SSW GMT in this color way for a while now.
With my recent decision to build out a 10 watch collection that I’ll actually wear on the reg, and the purging of a chunk of my existing collection. I’m sort of thinking I’ll funnel my money back into one of these.
I’ve not had the opportunity to try one on yet but on paper it’s got everything I think I want.
GMT ✅
2 tone bezel insert ✅
Brand with a bit of heritage ✅
40mm case diameter ✅✅
So paper specs aside, does anyone here have any experience with one of these, if so, should I go for it or let it go?

I really like that piece. The way I look at your situation is this, if you have been looking for this watch for awhile and if you have the funds, then get it. You will be upset if you let it slip and you have a hard time finding another. GET IT, if it feasible.
This goes for almost every watch: if you have the funds and admired a certain watch for a while, you should just try it on and get it. It isnt an impulse purchase if you had your eyes set on it for quite sometime.

True enough, only issue is there are no zodiac boutiques here so I’ll be picking it up from an etailer which requires me to crowdsource other peoples opinions on how it wears. Like it’s 14mm thick from what I can see so I’m thinking it’ll wear big (just as an example).
The one on eBay I had my eye on literally just dropped in price… mr eBay seller, are you here with us now??

There is the blue and white variant of this in used but as new condition for 1400 at my local jewellery store… I could reasonably haggle them down to 1200… don’t tempt me 😂
