So, I really love these "Hindu-Arabic" dials, but I also have a few in Hindi Devanagari script, Kannada numerals, and Hindu-Arabic numerals.
I got them while working in Dubai and Bengaluru India and I'm a huge fan of HMT watches.
But, I'm not super happy with the trend of folks who don't have a good reason to get a dial like this (not saying anything about your watch or reason).
Just that I see this trend of people that have no connection, no intent on understanding the purpose or just getting an arabic dial because it looks cool. It's a weird trend. Again. I have no judgment on this watch; I love it, and I have a dial just like it. But when I see Chad from marketing with one on knowing that he has no idea about the history of these dials. 🙄
BTW, Chad from marketing also has a tribal tattoo and Japanese writng on his arm that I'm pretty sure says: "Tiny Dancer" but he swears says: "Strength and courage"

That combo rocks!
Beautiful! Always great to see OG Arabic numerals!
