Hamilton Khaki King
My first auto. I went with the gateway watch, so I won't feel bad giving it dings. I threw a black racing strap on it because I'm Brown, I don't need a brown strap. OK, I'm hooked on the autos now.

That dial layout at the top, the day and date and how they nestled it between the hour markers (and dropped the 24) is the kind of effortlessly brilliant design that really needs to be more common.

Thanks man. I did give it a lot of thought, the black vs champagne dial. I did know I wanted it on a black strap, so the black and steel and champagne just felt like too much in my head. The simple steel & black was exactly what I was going for.

The symmetry is so good. When I first was looking into Hamilton, I had my eye on the black titanium. I couldn't get over how the dial is so off. The 3 is cut off for the date and the 15 is jammed into a weird inner-position it just looks weird, and its almost double the price! I just couldn't. Symmetry was the deal maker for me here. The black dial with a black strap I couldn't be happier.
Does the sapphire glass throw a lot of reflection? There is no anti reflective coating apparently.

The antireflective coating is not good. Little things like that start to show themselves at that price point.
