let everyone do what they want. It's good to have a choice. but for me, things without a brand are the main choice and there are a lot of reasons for this, not least from this list, I don’t get paid for advertising, and branded things look like cheap and many more reasons.

There are no problems at all with cars. If you order a car from the factory, most manufacturers have a section “Do you need nameplates” and which ones, i.e. Some can be removed and some can be left. but most often this is associated with operation, for example, in areas where the atmosphere is unfavorable, the first thing that occurs is rotting of the body in the places where the nameplates are attached. this option is as old as time. But with the clock it’s not so simple. By ordering a watch directly from the manufacturer and indicating that you want to get a non-branded version, your chances are 50/50 because often the manufacturer, even under fictitious pretexts, wants you to go and advertise its products on your wrist, there are, of course, completely understandable reasons, but more often what happens is that they don’t care what you want. If this moment for this purchase is important to me, I refuse to purchase, Sometimes I don’t care or the watch is purchased for sale or for other reasons.
Are you a little confused about the definitions or do you just like to think so. in reality, a fake is something that is not an original product and at the same time you make a transaction with this item or try to convince someone of this by claiming that it is genuine. in all other cases it can be called whatever you want, depending on the situation, in a movie it can be called scenery, props, in the watch community it can be “cutlet”, Frankenwatch, etc.
you are 100% right. and go to hell the manufacturer, and don’t care what he thinks. It's strange that you leave branding on your mods. not in the sense that the manufacturer can ban it, but in the sense that why be a walking advertisement, like the guy with the billboard near the store. you took the mechanism from the manufacturer, you bought it, the transaction is completed, you have no obligations, you do with it what you want, the manufacturer should be satisfied with the fact of the sale. after all, the baker, when selling you bread, does not regulate how and with what you eat this bread. We need more good watches, especially those collected for you personally and without a brand, otherwise let them pay extra for advertising ;) although if you like extra text on the screen, brand name and other garbage, no problem either, you paid for it. the watch will always remain original. simply assembled from various original parts that someone produced, or even you yourself. if you are going to sell such a construction set, passing it off as a model produced by someone else, it will be a fake. Otherwise there are no problems and it’s called anything but not a fake.
