I agree I went off topic about my comment on quartz movement. That being said if anyone still says that Tissot mechanical watches are worthwhile even after knowing that they have plastic parts then you are putting way too much weightage in Heritage. Also Tissot is duping their customers by providing mechanical watches with plastic parts hoping that the customer will be gullible enough to accept it in the name of Heritage.
The Tissot PRX has made me lose trust in Tissot on the whole. Didn’t expect them to use cheap plastic escapement. Since then I shun Tissot like the plague. Any watch is better than a Tissot with its plastic escapement…. Even a Gucci
This is wrong. Titanium is stronger than aluminum. Type 2 titanium is softer than steel. Only type 5 titanium is probably as hard as steel. But most watches below 5k don’t use type 5 titanium. Also type 2 titanium is cheaper than steel.
