I'm a late bloomer watch enthusiast, who's jumped head first after getting my first iconic watch at 50! Since then, there's no turning back. Trying to build, and manage a burgeoning collection, and looking forward to some good advice and discussion.
For me some watches are seasonal (summer vs winter watches), some are weekly rotators (versatile GADA watches) and some are special occasion watches. And so my rotation is a bit messy - also because some days you just have to put on your beloved Seiko diver.
I don’t think there’s an end - and that’s good! My strategy is to cap the total amount I’m willing to have in my collection (either number of watches or money invested) and then have a strict policy of one-in-one-out. I find there’s watches I loved when I bought them which a couple of years later are languishing in the box asking to be set free. So time to go and make room for something new.
Gifted this watch to my son this summer - he's been wearing it non-stop since then! Great summer watch.
