Need help…

Hey guys, so I don’t like the Apple Watch as I prefer a mechanical watch but I need something to get notifications from my phone (the wife)…is there something that I can wear that’s not an Apple Watch that can do this? I don’t want to wear it on my other hand. Help!

Or you could search 'hybrid smartwatch'

Any Garmin smart watch? Big fan of the Fenix which has all the notifications, but you truly do not want a mechanical watch with smart features. Companies that are not Apple or Garmin are pretty horrible at developing and maintaining watch software.

Yea I’m trying to find maybe a bracelet or small wearable so I can still wear my watch

Ah, that makes sense. If you need the notifications, perhaps something smaller like the Garmin Vivosmart on the other wrist?

My wife has one of these, it’s a watch with a tiny invisible screen for notifications

Do you need a display or just a vibration to tell you to look at your phone? There are "smart rings" on the market - I've looked at a few on line but haven't been convinced enough to buy one yet.

Also... About the only time I would miss a text is when I am biking (an hour every day) but I set up my ear buds to read me incoming text messages so that solves that issue.

The GShock GBD200 will do phone notifications.

Just vibrations, I try not to keep my phone in my pants pocket since I have a work and personal phone. Is there a product you were looking at? Nice hack btw on the ear buds!

I was closest to buying the Motiv but I think they stopped making it. There are several on Amazon but nothing with a ton of sales/ reviews.

I realize that's not a lot of help
