Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I don't ever remember exactly. I watched some youtube videos about watches and found that interesting. So I asked my wife to get me a watch for Christmas. I started to watch more content, read and suddenly I wanted all kinds of watches :).
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Some Casio digital + analog watch when I was 10 years old. I still have it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't listen to people who are telling you what watch you must or must not have. Buy what you like. There are no rules. Enjoy!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Microbrands like Astor+Banks, Zelos, Wise, Erebus, etc.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Not sure I have one. An "attainable" grail would be a lower tier Grand Seiko. A proper grail would maybe be something like Breguet.
