As you say, part of the game, in addition to having the watches that we are passionate about, is vital to know how to buy at fair prices...
My same experience with the Code 11.59...
I went into the boutique for a different AP and that one did not excite me. The salesperson then brought out the Code 11.59 Chrono with the smokey blue dial and that was it...not leaving the wrist...
