Wearing my fake breitling that I bought overseas just for the novelty of saying I bought a fake watch on a deployment 😂

Lol been there done that's before. ..quick story..2001 deployed to Saudi Arabia bought a fake Rolex day date.. this was 21 yo me not having much knowledge about watches and their value and the names of other swiss made watches. My mom gifted me a tank watch...wait for it...a Longines with the smooth sweeping movement like a real Rolex..you see where this is going right..well needless to say I try to take the movement out of this no name watch that I've never heard of to try and put it in a fake ticking Rolex to pass it off as a real one.. needless to say ruined both watches beyond repair...then saw the brand in a GQ mag then decided to look up the model I had and almost threw up when I saw the price...very valuable lesson learned that day and that started my journey into watches and the ones that are considered valuable lol
