Congrats! Is it the 43 or the 45?

A snapping hour hand is usually all I need. However those often only come as GMTs

Luckily both brands have great watches. The love for my Omegas didn’t change after getting my first Rolex.

But I took time and bought models I really liked for what they are 👍

What bothers me most is: the buying experience at Omega, IWC etc. are nice memories. Whereas buying a Rolex (AD included) always feels more like picking up a rental car.

I tried on the XX at a boutique the other day. And I too was stunned. I have an SMP (love it of course) but really am impressed with how the XX wears so much slimmer! Braclet and Microadjust are similarly good in my opinion.

Definitely look at the dial colors in person. Photos are very misleading imo (I feel like the SMP colors look better on photos than in real and that it’s the other way around with the XX)
