No, they came from the factory like that. Its because i didnt buy from seagull factory but Mysterious Code and they offered these type of hands on watch. I prefer them over the original ones! 😃

I have 2 Seiko 5s new ones. I have one for 3 years and other one for 4 years. Both are running perfectly. I went to my watchmaker and he said it looks like watches dont need service because they run great! I really dont think that new ones are badly made. Stainless steel is great, in 4&3 years the both watches have little to no scratches on case or crystal and these ones are most worn watches. And the timekeeping is awesome. In 4 years the red one has about 10-20 seconds plus in month and brownish sunburst has max 15 seconds a month in 3 years. Which is not a lot by mechanical watch standarts.

Thanks! I have no idea about the watches age. On some sites they say its 2000s on other sites its says 2010s.

I think it's modified by Maurice Lacroix. Because i always see 7750 movements where day and date are next to each other!

Thanks for the information! I really appreciate it!😌About the years i agree that i probably is 60's because on the dial it has "T Swiss made T" which indicates that it has tritium lume. (Well.. had) The watch had been open before me and the lume dots are not present.

I agree that its more unappreciated than unpopular! But the movement might be based on it. From the pictures online it looks quite a match. The caliber which i found out is Elgin 925. Maybe its based on A.S. 1716. Thanks for the information! 😄
