Do you have a funky weekend watch?

My brother bought me this in Japan. Its a different beast from the watches I buy myself, but it's comfy (at least on aftermarket rubber) and there's s...

Does someone at artem think garbage is funny?

Here's how my artem arrived. I'm not one to appreciate fancy packaging or anything, but I think 2 layers doomed for landfill would have sufficed. 4 pl...

Doxa fish logo doesn't get a lot of love, especially rendered in orange on the crown, but I like it. It doesn't brand your wrist:

at this point utc is just an offset from tai but it seems like we're getting fed up with leap seconds causing more harm than they're worth, so the distinction may become academic until lunch time drifts too much into the morning or afternoon for our tastes.

In the software world, whenever someone suggests not using utc, I always refer them to https://zachholman.com/talk/utc-is-enough-for-everyone-right

Hopefully watch folks get a kick out of this too.
