This question was always fascinating for me. When I started, $300 was insane... after having a couple $700 watches... $1200-1500 seems like the next price point that entices me. It's always changing as my taste changes.
Understandable. I love mine... but they were almost 2 months past their shipping date and i thought i might have been conned as well. Turned out well in the end.
I have the bronze version. Love it, most accurate mechanical watch I own. Had to wait forever for it... but I'm very happy with it.
Went down at 70mph (motorcycle) with my nh35 powered phoibos wavemaster... still kicking. I would trust a g-shock all day though
Top right older seiko is my favorite. The abalone phoibos and ga2100 are sick as well. That'd a fun collection
