Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
A few factors and probably many we can relate to - My dad only wore Tag Heuer chronographs growing up and used to mess around the the chrono as a kid - My uncle always wore this old G-Shock and it always felt like a grown ups watch (lucky enough to now have it) - John Mayer’s first talking watches
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Casio CMD-40 (which is now tattooed on my arm!
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Rolex Explorer is my favourite watch I own. I put my name down for it the day before interviewing for my current job and then I got the call a day after I hit the first significant milestone. Funny how life works sometimes
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t rush… there’s always something you perceive to be better than what you have! If you’re always chasing you won’t appreciate what you have. Also - it’s not about what it costs, it’s about how it makes you feel.

Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Grail is the AP Royal Oak specifically with the Military dial! It’s unique and different and not outrageously expensive compared to other Royal Oaks that makes it somewhat achievable
