Tag Heuer 1500 Professional

Recently fell into the rabbit hole of vintage Tag divers. Got this one from 1998 in pristine condition with no signs of wear. Might even save me some money and scratch that "90s quartz diver (Seamaster)" itch ๐Ÿ˜„

First impressions are good - I like the matte finish and slender profile due to the quartz movement, the colorful logo is a nice touch.

Very nice looking. I love the Tags from that era. Would love to find a blue dial. Enjoy it.

I love TAGs from that era! These days, they offer rather good value in my eyes. It's big name to have on a watch and some of the older Professional models (granted, a lot of them are well used) can be picked up for not a lot. The older quartz Formula 1s with the fibreglass cases are also mega cool; I'm tempted to pick one up myself.

Enjoy yours and wear it well; it looks awesome!

I bought a blue TAG Heuer 1000 out of a Sharper Image catalog for $395 around 1990. I sold it years later to buy a power amplifier. Not only was that Heuer the most beautiful watch I ever owned, it may have been the most beautiful thing I ever owned.

Congratulations, that's such a beauty. I used to have a blue 1000 and this watch looks so much like it. Thanks for showing it. Sometimes I will half-heartedly look for another 1000. You don't see many around.

The blue ones are super cool loking! In general I feel like blue fits Submariner style watches the most.
