I think you care what others think about what's on your wrist. I don't think there's a percent of snobbery in myself, honestly. Like many others, I went from casio—>Gshock—>seiko—>swiss. I respect what Casio has done for the watch industry. A sign of great innovators and engineers are those that create something innovative, yet, makes it affordable for EVERYONE. As far as aliexpress watches, if you took the logos off of those watches, people wouldn't care about the brand but actually care about the quality of the watch. There are people out there that spends thousands, hundred thousands on Stainless steel watches with Sapphire Crystal and screw down crowns. All of which, is available in alot of aliexpress watches lol.
BB58 is actually my grail watch lol. I know, its not much compared to the big 3 in Swiss brands, but there's just something about the BB58 that really attracts me. And it's definitely attainable. Just not right now, but I WILL get it.
I need the white dial version of the ssk023. Such a beautiful piece. Currently have the SSK003, although it doesn't get much wrist time as I thought it would.
Thanks alot everyone. After further inspection myself, I realized it as well. The "12" looks too fake as well. Saw it on the Facebook marketplace. Guy said it was given to him by his grandfather that has passed. Said he doesn't know how much it's worth, and that he needs money. So he was selling it for $400. I initially got a little happy because it would've been a great resell. But the seconds hand it broken, and one of the pushers is missing. Thanks again guys 🙏
