1917 Elgin Admiral Benson Trench Watch. I'm absolutely in love with these Admiral Benson trench watches from the Great War era. The use of spring bars for watch straps had not been fully developed or used in the late 1910s so the Illinois Watch co. utilized a solid bar with riveted ends to hold the strap. These unique cases are highly collectable with the gold filled versions being very sought after. This example sports a beautiful military shadow dial with the original 1917 date stamp on the back!

Beautiful. Also, love what you did with the lume ( I assume that was your modernization work).
