1918 Elgin Black Star Dial Trench Watch. In continuing with my 3 part offset crown trench watch display, I present my Elgin offset trench watch. It has an original and serviced 1918 Elgin Grade 462 movement housed in an original Philadelphia watch co. case. The black star dial is super unique and looks great with the original lum reservoir hands. I had to put it on a matching black leather bund band!

That is really cool. was that a common logo for Elgin to use? I have known of the brand for sometime but I am not familiar with many of their watches.

That eagle logo was only used on the black enamel dials from 1917-1918, and the white metal star dials from the same period.

So cool Chris.

Very cool. It seems to be so well preserved.
