Bought Panda Kuroshio Train 5th Anniversary Limited Edition Watch Seiko287 on Chrono24 for $412 — should I be worried it’s a fake?
Hi Team — I bought this watch earlier today after finding it on Chrono24. Everything on eBay was priced out around $700 but this was marked way down to $412. It was being sold by a dealer in Japan that had pretty decent reviews on the site. Should I be worried at all about the stark price difference indicating a fake? My alarm bells were going off but retail was $375 when the watch dropped so thought maybe it was just what they listed for and I found a good deal.
I have never purchased off Chrono24 before but they have some pretty clear authenticity guarantees and strict dealer vetting to sell on their site. They also have a 14 day money back guarantee so I felt comfortable moving forward with all this in mind.

Are the people on eBay you're referencing in Japan as well? If not, I'd say the price discrepancy is more about Western sellers, trying to make a buck. I've bought all my JDM watches direct from Japan over the years and they always work out cheaper than buying through a third party who is sourcing them from Japan and adding their cut on top. So, without even getting into an examination of the watch itself, that would be my opening gambit; that price isn't necessarily indicative of a fake in a scenario like this.

Haha that’s good 😊, trust me get the watch you will enjoy it and people will start asking about the panda on the dial lol , the white strap i got it from the market here in kuwait, you can order it on AliExpress very cheap price, size 20mm (make sure its curved on the edges) like the rolex strap

How did the bracelet it came with feel? I just recently bought this bad boy as well and definitely need a strap change as the bracelet is pretty cheap feeling
